Part Time Sales Team Member Duties and Responsibilities


Front End Team Member Description

We’re adding to our team and looking to fill a part-time sales team member position. This team member would be assigned to the register/sales floor and would focus on providing outstanding customer service while maintaining an excellent overall appearance of the sales floor. 

The sales team member is expected to provide an efficient and courteous customer experience with a high level of energy, professionalism, and positivity. We are looking for a team player!! Someone who is a do-er and has an ‘I can figure this out’ mentality. 

Hour Requirements:

  • Ability to work part-time schedule requirement here
  • Ability to work an assigned two Saturdays a month between 9:30 am - 5:30 pm along with your weekday scheduled shifts.

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds while climbing a latter 
  • Ability to lift objects over your head
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • General keyboard and computer skills
  • Ability to learn our point of sale and credit card processing system.
  • Wearing the provided uniform required.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, customer service disposition during the shift. 

Skills:

We’re looking for someone who can communicate effectively, work under pressure, make decisions independently and self-motivate, is good at time managing off a to-do list, is organized, and is a team player. Our sales floor associate enjoys a fast-paced work environment and desires to meet and exceed assigned goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer service, including checking out customers, answering the phone, helping customers find inventory on the sales floor, helping to load and unload larger items for the customer, putting back unwanted items, and becoming familiar with brands/products/prices to ensure excellent customer service. 
  • Maintaining store displays, organizing and cleaning the sales floor, creating ways of re-organizing inventory to accommodate incoming inventory, restocking inventory
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning windows, shelves, and counters.
